Preamble - Feed.biz (PrestaShop)
Compatibility This plugin works with PrestaShop 1.6 and newer versions. Requirements You do not need any special technical skills to use this module. However, it helps to have a basic understanding of how online marketplaces work. Most importantly, you must know the difference between a "product" and an "offer," which is standard practice for all marketplaces. To understand how marketplaces work, imagine looking at a T-shirt in a shop window. What you see there is a product. Once you step inside the store and see that exact T-shirt available in various sizes, colors, and prices, you are looking at the offers. Marketplaces process these two data sets separately to keep their systems organized: An offer represents the commercial data tied to selling the item. The Reference field in PrestaShop is used as your product's SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) on marketplaces. This code is very important because the system uses it to match your products and sync your orders correctly. For the sync to work, every product and variant needs its own unique Reference and EAN code. If any codes are missing or duplicated, the sync will fail.
