Managing Profiles
Where to find it: My Feeds > Parameters > Profiles
Rules don't work by themselves. Instead, you group your rules together inside a Profile, which you then apply to a Category. This makes it easy to apply a whole set of rules to your product categories all at once.
Step 1: Create and Name a Profile
To start grouping your rules, you need to establish a profile:
- Click the + Add a Profile button at the top left of the configuration screen.
- In the Profile name field, type a clear, recognizable name

Step 2: Set a Default Profile (Optional)
You can choose to set a specific profile as your safety net for the catalog import:
- Default Profile Checkbox: When you check this box (as shown in below image), this profile becomes your store's default option.
- Why use it? If you forget to assign a specific profile to a product category later on, Feed.biz will automatically apply this default profile's rules to those categories during the PrestaShop import phase.
- If you want a profile to apply only to specific, hand-picked categories, leave this box unchecked.

Step 3: Assign Rules
Once your profile is named, you can assign your pre-defined rules to it:
- Click the + Add Rule Item/s button on the right side of the panel.
- A new dropdown row will appear. Click the dropdown menu to see all the rules you have previously built.
- Select the rule you want to include in this profile.
- Manage your rules:
- Add multiple rules: Click + Add Rule Item/s again to stack multiple conditions inside a single profile.
- Remove a rule: Click the red minus (-) icon next to any rule row to detach it from the profile.
- Delete the profile: If you want to wipe out the profile completely, click the red Remove this Profile link at the top left.
Step 4: Save Your Work
Once you have finished linking your rules into the profile, click Save to store your configuration, or click Save & continue to finalize the profile and move to the next stage of your setup.
What's Next? Now that your profile contains its import rules, head over to the Categories parameters page to map this profile directly to your shop's product categories.
