Marketplaces > Amazon > Messaging > Customer Service

Use this page to connect your customer service email account to Feed.biz, allowing you to receive Amazon customer messages and reply to them directly from your Customer Service interface.

Enabling Customer Service Messaging

Toggle the ACTIVE switch to ON to enable messaging integration and display the setup fields:

  • Email Provider: Select your email service provider (e.g., Google Mail (gmail.com)).
  • Login & Password: Enter the login email address and password for the account receiving Amazon customer messages.
  • Labels: Enter the exact email label name (e.g., Amazon-Fr) created in your email account to categorize incoming marketplace threads.

ℹ️ Email Templates: To create or manage canned response templates, navigate to My shop > Messaging > Email Templates.

Email Provider Setup (Gmail Configuration)

To ensure messages are fetched correctly by Feed.biz, configure your Gmail account settings as follows:

  1. Enable IMAP: In Gmail, go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP, navigate to IMAP Access, and select Enable IMAP.
  2. Create Gmail Labels: Create a new label in Gmail matching the label name specified in your Feed.biz settings (e.g., Amazon-Fr or Amazon-UK).
  3. Configure Gmail Filters: Set up an automated filter in Gmail for incoming Amazon messages:
  • From: *@marketplace.amazon.[tld] (e.g., *@marketplace.amazon.fr or *@marketplace.amazon.co.uk).
  • Filter Actions: Select Apply the label (choose your created Amazon label), check Never send it to Spam, and check Always mark it as important.

Amazon Seller Central Configuration

To route customer messages to your Gmail inbox, update your contact details in Amazon Seller Central:

  1. Log in to Seller Central and navigate to Seller Information.
  2. Set the following fields to your configured Gmail address:
  • Customer Service Address
  • Customer Service Email
  • Customer Service Reply-To Email

⚠️ Important: Do not use the Seller Central Notifications menu for this setup. Only updating the email fields under Seller Information will correctly route customer messages to Feed.biz.
