Rules let you choose which products are excluded from the feed or deleted from marketplaces based on their price, manufacturer (brand), or supplier.

The setup screen has an editing area on the left and a Summary panel on the right that shows what your rule will do.

How Actions Work

When you create an import rule, you use the Action setting to decide whether products should be excluded from the feed or deleted from marketplaces:

• Exclude: If you check the Action box and select Exclude, the system will prevent the matching products from being imported into Feed.biz.
• Delete: If you check the Action box and select Delete, the system will generate a feed to remove the matching products from your marketplaces.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Click + Add a Rule at the top left of the screen.
2. Enter a name in the Rule Name field.
3. Check the boxes for the conditions you want to target (for example, Manufacturer/Brand or Supplier), then choose the corresponding values from the dropdown menus.
4. Check Price Range if you want to limit the rule to products within a specific price range, then enter your minimum and maximum prices.
5. Choose the desired result using the Action checkbox:

• Leave it unchecked to allow these products into Feed.biz.
• Check it and select Exclude to exclude these products from the feed, or Delete to remove them from your marketplaces.

6. Review the Summary panel on the right to verify your settings.
7. Click Save to finish, or Save & Continue to proceed to the next step.

Rule Examples

• Example 1: Exclude low-priced products from a specific brand – If you want to exclude products from a specific brand that cost less than €10, select the brand, set a maximum price of €10, then check the Exclude action.
• Example 2: Keep only a specific price range for an excluded brand – If you want to import only the products from a specific brand priced between $10 and $20, select the brand, set the price range to €10–€20, and leave the Action checkbox unchecked.
• Example 3: Delete products from a specific brand – If you want to delete all products from a specific brand, select the brand, then check the Delete action.

How Rules Apply to Your Catalog

Rules work together with Profiles and Categories.

1. Create a Rule.
2. Add the Rule to a Profile.
3. Assign that Profile to one or more product Categories.

Once a Profile is assigned to a Category, every product in that category will automatically follow the rules you have configured.
