EAN: Unknown reference. You must create your product before submitting an offer
In the offer integration log / report, you often see many identical errors:
EAN : Référence inconnue. Vous devez créer votre produit avant de mettre une offre, ou mettre une offre sur un produit déjà existant en utilisant l'EAN
(Message from Cdiscount / Octopia in the offer report — often in French.)
Two cases:
1. First offer feed
Your products do not exist yet on Cdiscount (EAN unknown in the catalog). Check whether you need to send products first:
Is it necessary to send my products?
Then follow product creation:
2. Offers already exist for these EANs
Offers were already online, created outside the module (Cdiscount / Octopia back office, or another integrator).
Make sure your PrestaShop references match the Cdiscount SKU / SellerProductId:
Validate your catalog structure
If the marketplace SKU is an ID (method used by some integrators) rather than the PrestaShop reference, contact support.
If offers were entered manually and SKUs do not match, have offers purged / realigned on Cdiscount / Octopia, then resend a Full Package offer feed.
