To better understand how Cdiscount works, it is important to distinguish between a product and an offer. A Simple Example Imagine you are looking at a T-shirt displayed in a store window. The T-shirt itself is the product. The Reference field in your store is used as your product's SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) on marketplaces. This code is very important because the system uses it to match your products and sync your orders correctly. For the sync to work, every product and variant needs its own unique Reference and EAN code. If any codes are missing or duplicated, the sync will fail. Sometimes you may want to stop products of certain brands or suppliers from being sent to your marketplaces. Marketplaces might spell a brand name differently than you do in your store. This page shows products that are currently on hold for orders that have not shipped yet. It lists pending orders from the last 4 days across Cdiscount. When a customer buys an item, the system holds that stock so you do not accidentally sell it to someone else. If the order ships: The items are officially taken out of your total stock.
