Your Shopify subscription has expired - Spartoo (Shopify)

Spartoo work runs in Feed.biz. The subscription is paid in Shopify, through the app installed on the shop. If it expires, Feed.biz stops.

What you see

A red banner on every Spartoo page in Feed.biz:

Your Shopify subscription has expired. Spartoo tasks for this shop are paused until it is active again. Update your subscription in your Shopify admin, under the Spartoo app; everything resumes on its own, and nothing has been deleted.

The banner also shows Paused since, with the date. The link Click here to update your billing opens the Spartoo app in the Shopify admin.

In the Shopify app, the banner is:

Your Shopify subscription has expired. Feed.biz has stopped reading this shop, and will start again as soon as the subscription is active.

The link is Update your subscription in the Shopify admin.

The shop still shows as connected: This shop is connected to Feed.biz. The Last read by Feed.biz date is the last successful read.

What stops

Spartoo tasks do nothing until the subscription is active again:

  • reading the catalogue and stock
  • sending products
  • importing orders
  • reporting shipments

These runs leave no line under Reports. They stop before the work starts.

What does not change

Nothing is deleted. Rules, mappings, the catalogue already read, and orders stay as they are.

Nothing is disconnected. The link to the shop stays. There is nothing to set up again.

Listings already on Spartoo are not removed. They stay as at the last send. Stock and prices are not refreshed while the pause lasts.

Resume

Renew the subscription in the Shopify admin, under the Spartoo app.

The next task that reaches the shop sees that the subscription is active and clears the pause. There is no button to press in Feed.biz for that, and there is no need to write to support about the pause itself.

Later runs catch up the catalogue, stock, products, and orders.
