Models tell Feed.biz how to match your PrestaShop product details with what Cdiscount requires.

💡 Tip for Beginners: For your first export, only fill out the mandatory required fields (marked in red). You can always come back later to add more details and improve your listings.

Managing Your Models

  • Add a Model: Click the + Add a Model button to start configuring a new model.
  • Automatic Creation: Use this tool to automatically generate models based on the data already in your shop.
  • Edit a Model: Click Edit next to an existing model to change its settings.
  • Delete a Model: Click Delete to permanently remove a model. A message will pop up asking you to confirm.

Main Settings

  • Model Name: Type a clear name for this model so you can easily find it later.
  • Mapping Universe: Select the main high-level category that matches your items on Cdiscount.
  • Cdiscount Category: Select the exact marketplace category where these products should be listed.

Price & Shipping Rules

  • Default Price Modifier: Set an automatic price change (like an increase or decrease) for all items using this model.
  • Price Alignment: The maximum percentage you will allow the system to lower your price to compete with other sellers.
  • Shipping Modifier Type: Choose to raise or lower your default shipping costs (for example, entering -1 lowers the shipping fee by 1 currency unit).
  • Preparation Time: The number of days you need to package and ship the items (choose between 1 and 10 days maximum).
  • Weight Rule Constraint: Block heavy products by setting a maximum weight limit in kilograms.

Discounts and Rounding

  • Discounts / Specials: Choose whether to send sale or promotional prices to Cdiscount. If you select No, your regular prices will be used.
  • Price Rules on Specials / Discounts: Select Yes if you want your standard price rules to also apply to items that are currently on sale.
  • Smart Rounding: Turn this on to automatically clean up your prices to make them look more attractive (for example, turning €10.53 into €10.59).

Product Details & Descriptions

  • Product Description Field: Choose which text from your PrestaShop store to use as the main description on Cdiscount.
  • Marketing Description Field: Select the text source for Cdiscount's marketing description. This supports rich HTML formatting, but any external website links (URLs) will be automatically removed.
  • Image Limit: Choose the maximum number of images to send to Cdiscount for each product.
  • Stock Break-Even: A safety buffer for your stock. If you enter 2, an item with 5 units in your store will show as having 3 available on Cdiscount. This helps prevent overselling.
  • Product Title Format: Choose how you want your product titles to look on the marketplace (e.g., Category (Cdiscount), Brand (Manufacturer), Name, Attributes).
  • Default Comment: Enter a standard note for your listings. If a product already has its own specific comment in your shop, it will overwrite this default text.

Target Audience & Variants

  • Public (Target Audience): Select who the items are for (such as adults, babies, or children).
  • Gender: Choose the intended gender for the items (men, women, or unisex).
  • Size Mapping: Select the PrestaShop attribute or field that holds your product sizes.
  • Color Mapping: Select the PrestaShop attribute or field that holds your product colors.

📘 If you want to export products with combinations, see our tutorial: Combinations Export.

Specific Data Mapping

This section lets you fill out specific technical details required by Cdiscount. You can use the Auto-fill button to let AI suggest matches for these fields, but make sure to check them before saving.

For each row, you will see two main columns:

  • Left Column (Default Value): Enter a backup value here. If a product is missing this information in PrestaShop, the system will use this default value instead. For example, if you set the default color to "White," any product without a color option will be listed as White.
  • Right Column (Feature): Choose a feature from your PrestaShop store (Catalog > Features). If this feature is filled out on your product page, Feed.biz will use it.

Note: If you have configured in the Mappings tab some associations for attributes or features, it will be these matches that will be sent, for example;

  • Your Product sheet contains the value "Dark Blue" for the feature "Color"
  • You specify Dark Blue > Royal Blue in the Mappings tab

It will be the value Royal Blue that will be exported in the Feed for the "Color" feature in this Model.
