Scheduled Tasks (CDiscount Marketplace)
For each platform, there is a list of scheduled tasks, allowing for example to automatically update your catalog on CDiscount.
They are commonly called “crons”. The module displays a list of all the tasks you need to configure in your crontab:

Note that there are free solutions from your host, paid external services, and even a native PrestaShop Cronjobs module, but we do not provide support for any of them as we are not the authors or operators.
There are several possible scheduled tasks:
Offers sending
Updates stock and prices on CDiscount (in practice often via Stock & Price (Light) — without overwriting shipping rates managed in Octopia).
Recommended frequency: Every hour during business hours
Orders – Acceptation
Accepts pending orders on CDiscount (“accepted” state)
Recommended frequency: Every hour
Note that this process can be blocking (e.g. out of stock) and does not exempt you from reviewing the list of orders that can be accepted.
Orders – Import
Imports accepted orders from CDiscount
Recommended frequency: Every hour, 20 minutes after the acceptation task
Note that this process can be blocking (e.g. out of stock) and does not exempt you from reviewing the list of orders that can be imported.
Orders Statuses Updates
Updates order statuses (e.g. shipped) on CDiscount
Recommended frequency: Every 4 hours during business hours
Tests
To check that a script works, copy the URL shown by the module in the Scheduled Tasks tab. Paste it into your browser address bar:

For a more detailed diagnosis, you can add &debug=1 at the end of the URL (especially for status updates).
If no obvious error appears, the script is functional; the next step is to configure the scheduled task with your technical partner.
The response is shown in a computer format (JSON): treat it as an error if you see “Error” or “Erreur”.
Our responsibility stops at correct execution of the script in the browser as described here.
Important:
- These tasks must be configured by a qualified person: webmaster, web agency, or third-party integrator. We cannot support server/cron configuration outside the module.
- Set up scheduled tasks only after the full module workflow has been verified. This is the final step.
- Follow the recommended frequencies. Do not call these scripts too often: normal module operation could be affected.
