Missing description for the product

When exporting products, you may see:

products_create.php(#1989): Inconsistency for product XXX-YYY(1/2) - Missing Description for Product

(“Description” may be replaced by another required field.)

Description is mandatory for product creation. Without it, the product is not exported.

Also check the module setting: PrestaShop has two fields (long description / short summary). The module must point to the one you actually fill in.

Then in module Settings, set Short / Long Description Field accordingly:
