What is product matching
Offer Synchronization via the Amazon Module
By default, the module updates your Amazon offers. The term "synchronization" is commonly used, but technically it refers to the update of offer data (price, quantity, etc.).
Case 1: The SKU already exists in your Amazon account
If your PrestaShop product SKU exactly matches an existing offer in your Amazon Seller Central account, the module will directly update that offer with the latest quantity, price, and other data.
Case 2: The SKU does not exist in your Amazon account
If the SKU is not yet present, but the product has a valid EAN/UPC code, the module can send the offer using this code.
Amazon will then search for a matching product in its database. If a match is found, Amazon will automatically create a new offer in your inventory, associating your SKU with the existing product.
This process is called matching.
✅ Result:
Your PrestaShop product is listed on Amazon without manual product creation, provided a corresponding product already exists in Amazon's catalog.
