Installing and upgrading the module
Module Installation Procedure
The installation procedure is described on the official PrestaShop website:
Although this documentation is somewhat old, it remains fully valid. It covers all possible scenarios in detail, which is why we have not found it necessary to rewrite it.
If there is a problem with automatic installation
If the automatic installation from the back office fails, you can follow the manual installation procedure, also described in this PrestaShop documentation.
Module Update
The update procedure is identical to the installation.
Whether you update via the back office or by FTP, your current settings will not be overwritten.
How to update the module:
- Go to Modules > Module Manager > Upload a Module, and install the latest version of the Amazon module.
- After the update, please follow these steps to avoid issues caused by cached data or unsaved settings:
1. Save the module configuration
Navigate to Modules > Amazon, then click the “Save the Configuration” button.
This saves all module settings, including any new ones introduced by the update.
📌 The "Save the Configuration" button is available on most tabs. If you don’t see it, switch to another tab where it is present and click it.
2. Clear your browser cache
