Generating the Report - Amazon Marketplace Plus

Catalog > Amazon > Report

Whatever operation is performed — synchronization (Offers tab) or product creation (Products tab) — you must generate a report.

The report provides the submission IDs as well as informational messages, warnings, and errors related to the last feed sent.

Generate the Report

Select a report, then click the View Report button in the Catalog > Amazon > Report tab.

To select a report: do not click on the Report ID number; instead click next to it. The line will become green, then scroll down to click "View report".

If you click on the Report ID number: this downloads the feed content file (contains the data sent to Amazon), also known as the JSON file.

🕒 Note: The report is not immediately available after sending. It may take a few minutes to several dozen minutes before Amazon makes it available.
Please do not contact support prematurely.

Why the Report Matters

The report is essential:

  • To verify if the feed was successfully processed
  • When requesting support from Common-Services
  • When contacting Amazon support

Errors in Product Creation Mode

In product creation mode, when you fill in the profile for the first time, the module already displays a few required fields defined by Amazon within the profile.

However, after sending the product feed, Amazon will ask for additional required fields in the report, depending on the specific products. Please see examples of such errors below.

It is then required to manually add the missing fields to the profile using the available field options in the Profiles tab.

Errors

In this case, the report indicates missing attributes and values, which must be added and filled in the profile.

Attention: Possible Rejection After Processing

Even if the report shows no errors, Amazon may still reject your products after processing.

In this case, they will not appear in your Amazon inventory.

👉 To check:

Go to Amazon Seller Central, on the page Fix your products:

https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/fixyourproducts?ref_=myi_ia_vl_myi

On the left-hand side, select Incomplete listings.

Look for the products you tried to add and review the error messages.

Common error: For many brands, Amazon applies a restriction. You must request approval by providing invoices, images, or other documents required by Amazon.

For Effective Support Requests

Always include:

  • General information: module and PrestaShop versions, your PrestaShop Addons order number
  • The generated JSON file: see how to retrieve it
  • The Amazon report, as described here (please send us a screenshot of the report or copy and paste its content directly into your support request)
