Creating Products – Common issues on profiles

You want to send a product feed but you are faced with one of these messages:

You must have previously looked at Product Creation page.

To send a product to Amazon, the module needs the product components from Amazon, these are called in the module; Profile, the profile being a model of product sheet allowing the module to structure the feed for Amazon.

This profile allows you to combine essential and optional information, such as classification, pricing rules, mappings …

It often happens to have forgotten to associate a profile to a category (in Categories tab) ;

Situation :

1. The category is selected
2. The profile is not selected

Solution :

1. Create a profile in Profiles if none exists
2. Then, select the profile for the category you’ve chosen in Categories tab
