Configuring a Profile
Amazon Marketplace Profiles
Profile Name
Enter a clear and explicit name related to the type of exported products (e.g. Skirts – Women).
Product Type
The Product Type is not a category but a technical model defined by Amazon. It determines the required and optional fields expected by Amazon.

Product Type Fields
Once a product type is selected, a list of fields will appear:
Variant
A variant in Amazon corresponds to a PrestaShop combination (e.g. size, color). Select the appropriate attributes in the “Variant” section.
Example for T-shirts:
Mappings
Fill in the required fields using a PrestaShop field, a fixed value, or a default value.
Two common scenarios:
- All products in the profile share one value (e.g. Department = Women) → use a fixed value.
- The value varies by product → use a PrestaShop field (attribute or feature).
ℹ️ Note: If you defined a Key Features Strategy (see below), it is not necessary to fill in the required “Key Product Features” fields.
You can also select optional available fields on the right to enrich your feed.
Key Features Strategy
Used to display bullet points (up to 500 characters each) in the product listing.
- 1st line recommended: Short Description
- Following lines: PrestaShop Features (with “With Labels” enabled)

Recommended configuration:
Recommended Browse Node
Required for Canada, Europe, and Japan.
👉 Download your product type template to find the browse node IDs:

- Enter up to 2 IDs, separated by commas.
- Validate by typing a comma — the number will turn blue when valid.
Default Pricing Rule
Define a pricing rule specific to this profile. It overrides the global pricing rule set in the Marketplace tab.

Processing Time
Number of days before shipment (e.g. warehouse preparation time).
This can be overridden by the value set in the product sheet extension.
Default Shipping Template
Select a shipping template configured in your Seller Central account.
- Applies to all products in the profile.
- If a template is defined in the product sheet, it overrides this one.
- Otherwise, the default configuration in Seller Central will be used.
