Why the Second Image of a Combination/Variant Is Not Displayed on Amazon - Amazon Marketplace

When checking your product combinations or variants on Amazon, you may notice that the second image assigned to a combination in PrestaShop is missing from the product image gallery on Amazon.

Why Does This Happen?

By default, the Amazon Marketplace module automatically designates the second image of a combination as the Swatch Image (the thumbnail image used in Amazon's variant/color selection boxes).

Because the module assigns this image exclusively for swatch selection, it does not submit it to Amazon as a standard product gallery image.

How to Fix It

To allow the second image to display as a standard gallery image on Amazon, you must instruct the module to use the main product image for swatches instead.

Step 1: Update the Module Settings

1. In your PrestaShop back office, go to Amazon Marketplace > Parameters.
2. Click Advanced parameters.
3. Enable the option: "Swatch uses the main product image".
4. Save your configuration.

Step 2: Resend Product Images

1. Navigate to Catalog > Amazon > Send images.
2. Click Send to Amazon to resubmit your product images to Amazon.
