Why Full Price Is Sent to Amazon Despite a Specific Price or Discount - Amazon Marketplace

If you have configured a specific price (e.g., -40% with no date limit) and checked the On sale box on a product, you may notice that the module still exports the full regular price to Amazon.

Why Does This Happen?

Amazon manages discounts using two distinct mechanisms: permanent price reductions and timed promotional sales. The module determines how to handle your discount based on the combination of the "On sale" flag and the date range of your specific price.

When "On sale" is checked on a product in PrestaShop, the module expects a timed promotion with start and end dates:

• Since your specific price has no start/end dates, the module cannot create a timed promotion for Amazon.
• Because the "On sale" flag is active, the module is prevented from baking the discount directly into the standard item price.
• Result: The module falls back to sending only the full regular price.

How to Fix It

Depending on how you want the discount to appear on Amazon, choose one of the following solutions:

Solution 1: Permanent Discount on Amazon

If you want the product to always be sold at the discounted price on Amazon:

1. Open the product in your PrestaShop back office.
2. Uncheck / disable the On sale checkbox.
3. Keep your specific price as-is (without date limits).
4. Resend your product prices to Amazon.

Solution 2: Timed Promotion / Sale on Amazon

If you want Amazon to display a strike-through sale price:

1. Open the product in your PrestaShop back office.
2. Edit the product's Specific price.
3. Set a specific From and To date range for the discount.
4. Keep the On sale checkbox enabled.
5. Resend your product prices to Amazon.
