Synchronization Field
Field used by Amazon to identify a product. Typically EAN for Europe and UPC for the United States.
Invoice by Email
Sends the PDF invoice generated by PrestaShop to the buyer, according to Amazon’s recommendations. The email is transmitted via the so-called "encrypted" address.
Code Exemption
Authorization granted by Amazon to sell without an EAN/UPC. This requires specific technical settings provided by Amazon support.
FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon)
Refer to the official FBA documentation for more details.
Queue
Each product update creates a log entry. These entries are queued for processing when the feed is sent.
Filters
Filters applied by supplier, brand, or price range. Filtered products will never be exported, even if in stock.
Title Format
Applies Amazon’s recommended format for product titles: adds brand, attributes, etc.
Latency / Handling Time
Time the seller takes to prepare the order before shipping. A latency of 2 means the product is shipped within 2 business days.
Mapping
A technique that replaces one value with another.
Mappings
A sequence of multiple mapping rules applied in order.
Shipping Method
The shipping carrier used for the order, from Amazon’s perspective.
Preorder
Allows exporting products out of stock with a future availability date (PrestaShop’s “Available date” field). The product will be shown as preorder on Amazon.
Price Rule
Applies a fixed value or percentage to the product’s tax-included price to adjust it for Amazon.
Relation
Parent / Child relationship between products. The parent is the main product; children are its variants. This relation defines the product hierarchy.
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
A universal term referring to the seller’s product reference.
Category
Main classification in which the product is grouped.
Variant
Equivalent of a combination in PrestaShop. An Amazon variant includes a parent product and child products, linked through a parent/child relation.
