I cannot connect Shopify to my Amazon seller account. The app shows 403 Unauthorized or Access to requested resource is denied.

This error message can appear on two instances:



To successfully connect the account, ensure that the account meets the following requirements:


  1. You must have a Professional Amazon Seller account. (Individual accounts not allowed).
  2. The account is fully active and no further account and payment verification on Amazon is required
  3. You have the appropriate user access to install a third-party app. You can check this on your Amazon account (Settings > User Permission History > User Permissions)
