How to Import Amazon Orders When SKUs Differ from PrestaShop References
This guide explains how to correctly import Amazon orders when the Amazon SKU does not match the PrestaShop product reference, using the advanced import options of the Amazon Marketplace module.
Step 1 – Activate Expert Mode
To access advanced import options, you must first enable Expert Mode.

Step 2 – Enable “Import By Override SKU”
- Go to the Parameters tab of the Amazon Marketplace module.
- In the Order import configuration section, click Advanced Settings
(the button label will change to Quick Settings, but advanced parameters will remain visible).

- Scroll down and enable the option:
Import By Override SKU

What this option does
When Import By Override SKU is enabled, the module will:
- Use the Override SKU field defined on the product
- Import orders even if the Amazon SKU does not match the PrestaShop Reference/SKU
This option is required when Amazon SKUs differ from your PrestaShop references.
Step 3 – Define the Amazon SKU in the Product Sheet Extension
For each affected product:
- Open the product in PrestaShop.
- Go to Modules > Amazon > Configure.
- Locate the field Override SKU.
- Enter the exact Amazon SKU used for this product.

📚 Documentation:
https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/product-sheet-extension-174schg/
Once saved, the module will use this value to correctly match and import Amazon orders.
Alternative Option – Import By ID
Instead of Import By Override SKU, you may enable the option:
Import By ID (located just above Import By Override SKU).

How Import By ID works
- The module uses the PrestaShop product ID and combination ID
- Orders are imported only if the Amazon SKU exactly matches the PrestaShop product ID
⚠️ Important limitation:
This method only works if your Amazon SKUs are explicitly built using PrestaShop IDs.
If this is not the case, you must use Import By Override SKU instead.
