How to Fix Warning: "Your store is in catalog mode" - Amazon Marketplace Plus

When accessing the information page of the Amazon Marketplace Plus module, you may encounter the following diagnostic warning message:

Your store is in catalog mode, you won't be able to import orders, you can switch off this mode in Preferences > Products tab

Why Does This Warning Occur?

Catalog mode disables the shopping cart, pricing (optional), and checkout functionalities across your PrestaShop store, effectively turning your website into a showcase gallery.

Because purchasing capabilities are deactivated at the system core level, PrestaShop blocks any attempt to generate new transactions. As a result, the Amazon Marketplace Plus module is completely restricted from processing, creating, or importing orders from your Amazon seller account into your back office.

How to Resolve the Warning

To allow the module to successfully sync and import your Amazon orders, you must disable Catalog mode. The exact navigation path depends on which version of PrestaShop your store is running:

For PrestaShop 1.7 and PrestaShop 8+

1. Log into your PrestaShop back office.
2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Configure > Shop Parameters > Product Settings.
3. Locate the Catalog mode option near the top of the configuration page.
4. Switch the toggle from Yes to No.
5. Click the Save button.

For PrestaShop 1.6

1. Log into your PrestaShop back office.
2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Preferences > Products.
3. Scroll down to the Product page section and locate the Catalog mode setting.
4. Change the setting to No.
5. Click the Save button.
