# Skipping SKU: No need matching the parent product - Amazon Marketplace Plus

This article explains **why this message appears when sending an offer synchronisation feed in Matching mode**, and what it means for your Amazon listings.

---

## What does this message mean?

When the module displays the message:

> **“Skipping Product SKU: – No need matching the parent product”**

it means that the product being skipped is a **parent product** (parent SKU).

On Amazon, **only child products (variations)** can be matched and listed with offers.
**Parent products are not sellable items** and therefore **do not require matching**.

As a result, the module automatically skips parent products during the **Matching** process.

---

## Is this an error?

❌ **No, this is not an error.**

This is an **informational message** indicating that the module is behaving correctly.

The product is skipped intentionally because:
* It is a **parent product**
* Parent products **cannot be matched or sold**
* Only **child SKUs** are relevant for offer synchronisation

---

## What should I do?

✔ **Nothing is required** if:
* Your child products (variations) are correctly matched
* Offers are created or updated successfully for child SKUs

You can safely ignore this message.
