# Settings > Authentication - Spartoo (Shopify)

**Spartoo > Settings > Authentication**

This screen has two connections. One is to Spartoo. The other is to your Shopify shop. Each has its own test, because one can work while the other does not.

## Partner code

This is the webservice merchant ID from Spartoo. Paste it into **Partner code**. See [Get your Webservice Merchant ID](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/get-your-webservice-merchant-id-spartoo-shopify-1chxgtk/) for where to find it.

**Check connection** asks Spartoo if the code is accepted. The answer is **Connection established.** or **Connection failed. Check the partner code.** The test does not save the code. Click **Save** after it.

## Shop connector

The screen says: **Feed.biz** **reads your catalogue from the app installed on your shop.**

**Connector address** and **Connector token** are filled in when you connect the shop. You cannot edit them here. They show which shop Feed.biz is reading.

**Check the connector** calls the shop. The answer is **Connector reached.** or **Could not reach the connector.** A failure here is the shop app: the app was uninstalled, the token was replaced, or the shop is closed. It is not a Spartoo problem.

**Request a catalogue sync** asks for a full catalogue read outside the schedule. Feed.biz then shows how many products and variants the shop has, in this form: **You have 120 products and 340 variants. The sync runs in the background; you do not need to stay on this page.** The two numbers are the counts from your shop. You can leave the page.

The button then waits 30 minutes and shows the time left, for example **Request a catalogue sync (29:42)**. If you click it again before that, the message is: **A sync was already requested for this shop. The catalogue is read twice an hour, so there is nothing to do but wait.**
