# Selecting the Categories

Here you select which **PrestaShop categories** to export and which **profile** to associate with them.

If your profiles are not ready yet, configure the **Profiles** tab first.

On the left, the category must be checked, and on the right, you must select a profile.
Here is an example highlighted in green:

Please note:

* The checkboxes are highlighted in red because this step is often overlooked
* A **model** on the profile is mandatory for **product creation**. For offer matching only (EAN already known on Cdiscount), the model is not required
* You can use the **Shift** key to select multiple categories at once
* The same product in several checked categories with **different profiles** can trigger a “multiple profiles” error
