# My Shop > Connection - Cdiscount Flux

## First-Time Connection Guide

Setting up the Cdiscount Flux plugin for the first time requires downloading the module, installing it within your Store back office, and linking the two platforms together.

### Connection Steps

1. Go to **My Shop > Configuration** in your Cdiscount Flux dashboard to download the module for PrestaShop. Keep the file compressed; do not unzip it after downloading.

2. Log into your PrestaShop back-office, navigate to **Modules > Module Manager**, and select **Upload a module** to upload the compressed zip file.

3. Once installed, click **Configure** and then click **Connect**. This automatically redirects you to **My Shop > Configuration** in the Cdiscount Flux dashboard, where the connector URL will be automatically populated and verified.

### Configuring Your Import Mode

While on the **My Shop > Configuration** page, you can also choose how your product data is synchronized by setting up your preferred import mode:

*   **Automatic Mode:** The import will be carried out periodically in the background, ensuring your Cdiscount Flux data is automatically refreshed and kept up to date. 
*   **Manual Mode:** You will need to trigger data updates yourself. Product details will only be updated after you manually click the **Save** button.

|| Note: We highly recommend selecting Automatic Mode to ensure your catalog stays accurately synced without manual intervention.

### Exporting Your Catalog

Now that you are successfully connected to Cdiscount Flux, a setup wizard will appear automatically on your screen to guide you through exporting your store catalog to  Cdiscount Flux.

Simply follow the step-by-step prompts provided by the wizard. Once finished, your shop is completely synchronized!
