Amazon will then search for a **matching product in its database**. If a match is found, **Amazon will automatically create a new offer** in your inventory, associating **your SKU** with the existing product. This process is called **matching**. --- || ✅ Result: Your PrestaShop product is listed on Amazon without manual product creation, provided a corresponding product already exists in Amazon's catalog. --- ## Exporting your offers to Amazon via Matching Before using the module to export your offers to Amazon, please review and understand the following pages: * [Difference between an offer and a product](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/differentiating-between-an-offer-and-a-product-amazon-marketplace-plus-x2x13y/) * [Validating your catalog structure](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/validating-your-catalog-structure-amazon-marketplace-plus-d3xsyp/) * [Products eligible for export](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/eligible-products-for-export-or-synchronization-amazon-marketplace-plus-180uova/) --- ### Best conditions to use *Matching* You can use Matching if you are certain that most of your PrestaShop products: * Already exist in Amazon’s catalog (but not yet in your Amazon account) * Are identified by a valid **EAN/UPC code** * Are **eligible for export or synchronization** via the module --- ### Recommended configuration * If you only want to attach your existing products, you can enable only the [offer creation](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/sending-syncing-offers-amazon-marketplace-plus-1pz0psa/) **(matching)** feature. * If some of your products are not yet listed in Amazon’s catalog, you can also enable [product creation](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/creating-new-products-amazon-marketplace-plus-5evxbs/) for those cases. ⚠️ Matching will work **even if product creation is enabled**. Both features can complement each other: 1. Products already in Amazon’s catalog will be added through **matching**. 2. In the [product sheet extension](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/product-sheet-extension-amazon-marketplace-plus-1rrc4dg/), you can **copy/paste the EAN/UPC** into the **ASIN** field and click the **UPC/EAN > ASIN** button: * If it is found → the Amazon ASIN will be displayed. * If it is not found → this means the product does not exist in the Amazon catalog. You can also perform a bulk search of EAN/UPC codes in [Seller Central](https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/product-search/product-ids). || 👉 But it is not necessary to manually check all your products: you can simply submit your catalog as an offer feed to perform matching automatically and then review the report. --- ### Summary * ✅ Enable **offer creation (matching)** to attach your products to existing listings in Amazon. * ➕ You can also enable **product creation** if some of your products are not yet in Amazon’s catalog. * 📦 Your inventory will then be published on Amazon quickly and efficiently, either through matching or product creation when needed.
