# Installing + upgrading the module - Amazon Marketplace Plus

## Module Installation Procedure

The installation procedure is described on the official PrestaShop website:
🔗 [View the documentation here](http://addons.prestashop.com/en/content/21-howto)

> Although this documentation is somewhat old, it remains fully valid. It covers all possible scenarios in detail, which is why we have not found it necessary to rewrite it.

---

## If there is a problem with automatic installation

If the automatic installation from the back office fails, you can follow the **manual** installation procedure, also described in this PrestaShop documentation.

If it fails, try uninstalling and reinstalling the module via FTP:

* Delete the `modules/amazonsaas` folder

* Then unzip the Amazon module file. You will find an `amazonsaas` folder inside. Please upload this folder via FTP into your `modules` folder.

If the error persists, please send screenshots of the errors (in debug mode if possible) to our [support](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/support-amazon-marketplace-plus-azzto2/).
---

## Module Update

The update procedure is **identical** to the installation.
Whether you update via the back office or by FTP, your current settings **will not be overwritten**.

---

## How to update the module:

1. Go to **Modules > Module Manager > Upload a Module**, and install the latest version of the Amazon module.

2. **After the update**, please follow these steps to avoid issues caused by cached data or unsaved settings:

---

## 1. Save the module configuration

Navigate to **Modules > Amazon**, then click the **“Save the Configuration”** button.
This saves all module settings, including any new ones introduced by the update.

📌 The "Save the Configuration" button is available on most tabs. If you don’t see it, switch to another tab where it is present and click it.

---

## 2. Clear your browser cache
