# Import an order - Out of stock product - Amazon Marketplace Plus

Sometimes, you may want to import an Amazon order for a product that is **out of stock** in your PrestaShop store.

No specific configuration is required in the module. The import will follow the stock management strategy defined in the **product settings** or in **PrestaShop's global settings**.

---

## 1. Check the Product Settings

Go to the product page and locate the section **"When out of stock"**:

* If **"Allow orders"** is selected **and** the [product import availability conditions](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/error-unable-to-import-an-order-of-an-inactive-or-unavailable-product-amazon-marketplace-plus-ejg82n/) are met, the order will be imported.

---

## 2. Check PrestaShop Global Configuration

If the product uses the **default setting**, PrestaShop will apply the global configuration defined in:

`Shop Parameters > Products Settings > Products Stock > Allow ordering of out-of-stock products`

Make sure this option is enabled:

## 3. Diagnostic Tip

If the order still won't import:
* Try placing an order for the same product on your **PrestaShop front office**
* This often reveals the problem more clearly
