# How do I make VAT on imported Amazon orders match PrestaShop tax configuration? - Amazon Marketplace Plus

When importing Amazon orders, the module can either:

* use the VAT values received from Amazon,
or
* recalculate VAT using your PrestaShop tax rules.

If you want imported orders to follow the taxes configured in your PrestaShop store, you can enable the following option.

## Force tax base on tax in Prestashop

Go to:

**Amazon Marketplace > Parameters > Taxes**

Enable the option:

**Force tax base on tax in Prestashop**

Once enabled, the module will calculate VAT using the tax rules configured in your PrestaShop instead of using the VAT amounts provided by Amazon.

This is useful if:

* your PrestaShop tax rules differ from Amazon’s calculation
* you use specific local tax rules
* you want consistency between Amazon orders and regular PrestaShop orders

## Important notes

* After changing this option, new imported orders will use the new tax calculation method.
* Existing imported orders are not recalculated automatically.
* Please verify that your PrestaShop tax rules, countries, carriers, and customer groups are correctly configured before enabling this option.
