# GPSR / Product Safety (Cdiscount)

The module tab **GPSR / Product Safety** manages product safety data required by Octopia / Cdiscount (GPSR regulation).

> GPSR fields are sent on **Product Integration** only, not on offer or stock updates.  
> After changing GPSR data: re-export with Product Integration and **Ignore Existing Inventory**.

### 1. Property map — Scan GPSR properties

1. Open the module configuration → **GPSR / Product Safety**.
2. Click **Scan GPSR properties**.
3. The module scans models / categories and shows the table: Category, Label, Reference, Necessity.
4. If the table is empty: *No GPSR properties found yet. Run a scan.*
5. If **Conflicts** appear, fix the reported duplicates / inconsistencies before exporting.

### 2. Shop defaults

Fill in the manufacturer contacts used when the product / manufacturer has no own value:

- **Default manufacturer name**
- **Default manufacturer address**
- **Default manufacturer email**

Then save the configuration.

### 3. OER declaration

In the Octopia seller portal, declare your **Responsible Economic Operator (OER)**:

In the module, check:

> I have declared my Responsible Economic Operator (OER) in the Octopia seller portal

### 4. Manufacturers GPSR contact

In **Manufacturers GPSR contact**, for each PrestaShop manufacturer enter name, postal address, and email.  
The status column shows **Complete** / **Incomplete**. Fill incomplete rows, then save.

### 5. On the product sheet (Cdiscount extension)

Section **Octopia Product Safety (GPSR)**:

- Manufacturer name / postal address / email (leave empty = manufacturer or shop defaults)
- **Safety warnings (French)**
- **Safety information PDF URL**

### 6. Catalogue send

Export / send via **Catalogue → Cdiscount → Product Integration** — see [Export: Products creation](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/export-products-creation-10lmyhm/).

If creation is blocked: see your **Product Creation – Support Request** article (same steps as the FR support request: XML + report).
