# GCID code exemption - Amazon Marketplace Plus

**You sell products without EAN codes, and Amazon has granted your brand a GCID exemption.**

## Step 1 – Activate Expert Mode

Enable **Expert Mode** by following this guide:

Then go to the **Features** tab and enable the **Code Exemption** option:

## Step 2 – Verify Amazon Information

In your **Amazon Seller Central** account, go to:  
**Catalog > View Selling Applications** to check your GTIN exemption request.

### 2.1 Check the Brand

Ensure that the **brand in your product pages** (field *Manufacturer* or *Brand*) **exactly matches** the one approved by Amazon.  

||| ⚠️ This field is case-sensitive (uppercase/lowercase) and spacing must be identical.

## Step 3 – Configure Your Profiles

In the profiles for exempted products:

* Select the **brand** linked to the exemption  
* Set **Code Exemption = Yes**

## Step 4 – Send the Product Feed
