# First setup checklist - Spartoo (Shopify)

Do these steps once per shop, in this order. Daily work then stays in Feed.biz.

## 1. Connect the shop

From the Spartoo app in Shopify, connect the shop to Feed.biz.

## 2. Partner code

1. Copy the webservice merchant ID from Spartoo ([Get your Webservice Merchant ID](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/get-your-webservice-merchant-id-spartoo-shopify-1chxgtk/)).
2. In Feed.biz: **Spartoo > Settings > Authentication**.
3. Paste into **Partner code**, click **Check connection**, then **Save**.

## 3. Countries

Under **Settings > Countries**, tick the Spartoo platforms you sell on, then **Save**.

## 4. Catalogue

Wait for the scheduled catalogue read, or click **Request a catalogue sync** on Authentication.

**Products** stays empty until that read finishes. The message is: **No product yet. They arrive from your shop connector.**

## 5. Categories

Under **Categories**, add rules so each product you want online gets a Spartoo category, gender, and product type.

A product with **Sync** = **No** is not sent.

## 6. Colors & Sizes

Under **Colors & Sizes**, map shop colours and sizes to Spartoo values. Use **Auto Match by Name** only as a start, then check the rows.

## 7. General Settings (quick pass)

Under **Settings > General Settings**, check at least:

* **Shop currency**
* **Products to export**
* **Send EAN codes** (turn off if Spartoo refuses your barcodes)
* **Apply discounts** only if you use discounts

## 8. Scheduler

Under **Settings > Scheduler**, turn on the tasks you need (**Send products**, **Import orders**, **Report shipments**). Leave **Report cancellations** off unless you really want cancellations sent to Spartoo.

## 9. First send

Let **Send products to Spartoo** run, or export from **Products**.

Then open [Reports](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/reports-spartoo-shopify-g8hghx/) and use **View Report** for errors and warnings.
