# Error: missing required field (Inconsistency – Missing …)

On **product creation** export, you may see:

> products_create.php(#1989): Inconsistency for product XXX-YYY(1/2) - Missing Description for Product

or, depending on the missing field:

> … - Missing BrandName for Product  
> … - Missing ShortLabel for Product  
> … - Missing LongLabel for Product  
> … - Missing Model for Product  
> … - Missing CategoryCode for Product  
> … - Missing ProductKind for Product  
> … - Missing Navigation for Product

_(The name after_ **_Missing_** _is the required technical field.)_

The product (or combination) is **not exported** until that field is filled in PrestaShop / model / profile.

### What to do

1. Find the product via the reference / `product/combination` IDs in the message.
2. Fill the indicated field (product sheet, manufacturer, or model / profile).
3. Confirm a complete **profile** + **model** is linked to the category — [Selecting the Categories](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/selecting-the-categories-1xgnt6j/).
