# Error: Duplicate EAN codes for products

When exporting products, you may see:

> Duplicate EAN entry for product, References: \[demo_1, demo_2]

The list contains references whose EAN appears **twice or more** in the catalog (products or combinations).

Common duplicate EAN example:

Every product / combination must have a **unique** EAN:

Find a product by its reference (or ID) in the PrestaShop catalog:
