# Error: carrier / tracking mapping (order import)

When importing orders, you may see:

> Tracking mapping is not configured. Please configure Tracking mapping in Transport tab.

or

> Parcel carrier "XXX" (Octopia ID N) is not mapped to any PrestaShop carrier. Please configure Tracking mapping in Transport tab.

or

> Parcel carrier "XXX" was not found in Octopia carrier list. Please reload carriers in Transport tab.

or

> Order #… cannot be imported because the parcel carrier "XXX" is not mapped. …

or

> Unmatched shipping method for order #…, you have to configure your carrier mapping in the module configuration ("…"). The order was reverted and skipped.

or (missing carriers file):

> Carriers file (json/delivery-modes/carriers.json) is missing. Please use Load carriers from file in Transport tab.

Sometimes a **warning** (order still imported):

> Note: default carrier was used for order … because the delivery mode was not mapped (…)

### Cause

Octopia / Cdiscount sends a **delivery mode** and/or a **parcel carrier** that is not linked to a PrestaShop carrier in the module **Transport** tab.

Two separate mappings:

1. **Delivery modes** (offers / import) → PrestaShop carrier
2. **Tracking** (shipment notification) → Cdiscount carrier / tracking URL

### What to do

1. Open **Transport** in the module configuration.
2. If needed: **Load carriers from file** (or reload the Octopia list), then **Save configuration**.
3. For every mode you use in production, select a PrestaShop carrier.
4. Also fill the **Tracking** table if you send tracking numbers.
5. Optional: **Default PrestaShop carrier for unmapped delivery modes** — if a mode is not mapped, the order can still import with that default (`Disabled — require mapping` = mapping mandatory).
