# Categories Tab - Amazon Marketplace Plus

Products within the selected categories will be considered [eligible](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/eligible-products-for-export-or-synchronization-amazon-marketplace-plus-180uova/) for synchronization with Amazon.

## How it works

* Only eligible products from these categories are included in [logging](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/understanding-the-logging-system-amazon-marketplace-plus-15fv9su/).
* Any change (add, update, delete) triggers an automatic update to Amazon.

## Recommendations

* If you change the selected categories, immediately perform a manual [offer send](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/sending-syncing-offers-amazon-marketplace-plus-1pz0psa/).
* Alternatively, you can [empty the queue](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/emptying-the-queue-amazon-marketplace-plus-15byjjs/) to avoid inconsistencies.

## Tip

* The checkbox at the top of the left-hand column lets you (de)select all categories with one click.
* By default, **all categories are selected** upon module installation.

## Creating products on Amazon

To [create products](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/creating-new-products-amazon-marketplace-plus-5evxbs/), you must link your **profiles** to the corresponding **categories**.

* One profile can cover multiple PrestaShop categories.  
* A category can only be linked to a single profile.  
* If a product belongs to multiple categories, it must have a **default category** checked in the *Categories* tab of the module.
