# Carrier Modules

Example: you have a **Relais Colis** carrier that does **not** appear in the module.

### Why?

Relais Colis is not a standard PrestaShop carrier — it is a **carrier module**. It expects human interaction (a page, picking a pickup point, etc.).

The marketplace module is automated, not a human user, so it cannot answer that interactivity.

Waiting for that interaction can break marketplace operations (for example **order import**).

For that reason, interactive **carrier modules are excluded by default** from our marketplace modules.

### Solution

In **Shipping → Carriers**, create an independent PrestaShop carrier that is **inactive on the front office**, named for example:

> Relais Colis (Marketplace)

Then map it in [Transport](https://doc.common-services.com/en/article/transport-8zs4jw/). It will not show on your front office.

### Alternative?

In **Expert Mode**, an override is sometimes possible. You get **no support** for that setup or for issues it may cause (e.g. failed order imports).

Prefer the inactive carrier solution above.
