# Amazon Remote Cart - Amazon Marketplace Plus

## What is it?

In multichannel sales, one major risk is selling the **same product** at the same time on multiple platforms (your store, Amazon, etc.), especially if only **one unit** is in stock.

This can lead to:

* A **cancelled order** for a customer — poor experience.
* A **penalty** from Amazon for unfulfilled sales.

---

## The Solution: Amazon Remote Cart

The module introduces a system to **reserve products** that are in the process of being purchased on Amazon.

If you enable **"All Orders"** import, you may see orders with the **"In Cart"** status:

---

## How does it work?

1. Amazon creates a **Pending order** (not yet paid).
2. The module detects it and marks the product as **"In Cart"**.
3. The item is **temporarily removed from your store’s stock**.
4. It is now **reserved** for the potential Amazon buyer.

As a result, the product cannot be sold:
* On your PrestaShop store
* On other connected marketplaces (depending on update frequency)

---

## What happens next?

* If the **order is confirmed** on Amazon → stock stays deducted.
* If the **order is cancelled or expires** →
→ The item is **restocked** in your shop after a **4-hour delay**.
